Yeah, Twitter can be a really decent place. It's only really as bad as who you follow and who you reply to. I tried arguing with console warriors when I used to frequent it ~5 years ago, and I really liked it. Actually the reason I had to leave is because I got quite addicted and posted there too much!

Pretty much expecting an Until Dawn type game especially if they're describing it as a narrative driven horror adventure. Maybe there'll be some survival aspects but I'm not holding my breath. Still very interested to see what it is.

i hope it's not a telltale-style game, that'd be pretty lame imo. there's plenty of those types of games being made these days. gimme something like re2 remake lol.

The EA joke was good and it got the exact reaction I expected here.

In other genres, I really wish PD would stop messing with GT7 force feedback every patch, having to find new settings every few weeks has already gotten old.

"Narrative-driven" could also mean that it's a story-based game. For example, Silent Hill, The Last of Us, and Alien: Isolation are technically narrative-driven.

The "adventure" + narrative driven part makes me think it's like Until Dawn. Though those games are usually classified as interactive too so who know. Hopefully we see soon.

Lol I'm really hoping for a survival horror game too. At the very least I wouldn't mind an amnesia style horror game either.

After talking with more folks yesterday, I can definitively say that there was a release date/pre-order announcement planned for yesterday. It was bumped at some point last week. I don't know why. (Speculation is because of Roe v Wade.) Also, PlayStation has been trying to keep secrets so badly that most SSM employees weren't even told about it.

As of this week the game is still on track for November. People working on it say it's huge and seem to be pretty excited about it. Reminds me of the buzz I was hearing before the 2018 one.

Interesting, do you think they will try to do something to figure out who The Snitch is? Not that he has done anything bad, but if Sony wants to keep their secrets so badly, I could see them going the extra mile. Like for example reaching out to Google, if the YouTube backend theory is true.

That's the only way (in addition to all-around being better or at least on par gameplay way and scale-wise) GOW:R tops GOW2k18.

This is my single biggest far for this game, how does it top the last one? It could very well be a victim of its own greatness.

He knows he did something bad, that he even admits he now posts cryptic gifs as leaks to avoid legal issues.
At least that is what is said on the Kotaku article.

And he even deleted his tweet leaking the all SoP

I kinda feel bad for sony and other publishers. they've been having to delay announcements more and more recently because the fucking world we live in is so fucking fucked up. lately it's like there's rarely time to get something announced in between horrible tragedies.

That's not the first time the game is described as "huge" I think. We all expected a trilogy but no, everything in one game. It must be packed.

I can see why they'd delay the announcement due to the overturning of RvW. They also delayed the PS5 reveal due to the death of George Floyd and the protests that followed.
