Sifu is my standout tittle. Combat looked really satisfying. Also hyped to finally play FF7R.

It was an okay show, I liked some of the stuff shown off:

I did, absolutely, I'm just comparing it to other State of Plays where the like to dislike ratio was 1 to 1 or even tilted negative.
I think the only question is if PlayStation Showcase will be some sort of regular thing now that the PS5 is out. If we do get more it will go a long way toward establishing clear expectations.

They're publishing it, but I'm not sure how everything else is situated in that deal.
It's a bit of both, totally fine played single player but your opponent can also be another player.

I really do not understand some of the posters here. Either they are frustrated with Sony's silence and no updates. Then there is a state of play with some nice updates but nothing earth shattering and you see posts all over about how they shouldn't have even done anything. When they were literally begging for any update last week. Like pick a lane.

Exactly, idk where people got these expectations of SOP being this huge event with only AAA titles.
Only thing I was disappointed in, and can't really understand, is not announcing PS+ games. If they've got some heavy hitters, you'd think they'd show them today while all eyes are on them. Hopefully this doesn't mean we're getting some simulator lmao
Hmm, let's see... There's still 3 months left before the game releases and they still haven't done a SOP for R&C. Gamers are really entitled bunch.

It can be if you want, a random person can take control of that woman who appears in the trailer trying to kill you. You can also play as her and invade the games of other people.
But if you don't want any of that stuff the AI will take control of that character.
Saw some stuff I liked so can't say it was a waste of time. I was just really hoping to hear about TLOU and/or DS on PS5 so I can't help but feel a tad let down personally.
My expectations is for 1 Showcase per year during E3 time. 2 if they got a new tech like a PSVR2 or PS5 PRO in the future.
I'd be down for one legit big annual event + dedicated SoPs + general update SoPs like the one today. We'd know exactly what to expect from every Sony showing.
Who knows? It has been ready and done for a while now, though. Genuinely expected it to be revealed today. Same goes for LiS: True Colors.

I'm actually extremely hyped. What was shown was on the level of games I expected, but the games I expected showed themselves off so well that I feel extremely hyped. Like there are 6 games from that showcase I'm day one for...
No one is obligated to preorder. They've shown the game. Even done narrated gameplay. If people want to preorder they can. If you're still skeptical, don't. The person make a big deal about it just wants to complain like some other posters here because a studio is getting downsized. So "everything sucks" right now.

Same. I think the mix of Housemarque's signature arcade style effects with grounded TPS styles (more Control than Gears) looks a bit jarring but maybe just because it's different. I need to play it to tell if I like it.
