lol this is so strangely worded it makes me actually more convinced this is real 😂
Funny, even in the retraction they refer to it as GT7, probably should have at least said "any future games in the Gran Turismo series" instead or something like that.

Sorry, this denial smells like bullshit. There's no way that logo was just a random mock-up. I think Sony lawyers just knocked on their doors and they had to deny it to maintain the surprise.
Has anyone found this exact logo floating around out there. It looks like it could be legit but it's not like anyone couldn't have made it given
IE: We totally know GT7 exists but we don't know exactly what time of day it will launch in 2020 and you can't prove that we do!

Probably should have just left it as is and say we just perfectly added a 7 with photoshop XD.
So it clearly exists they just don't know when it'll launch. I'm thinking 2021 at the earliest.
There is a logo that looks somewhat similar that I stumbled across on Google Images, but it's ultimately different in typography. I'm struggling to link it but it's the first thing that pops up.

Where did you get that GT 5 from?
The 5 was a lot chunkier had a gradient and a slight outline with drop shadow. The move from 5 to 6 was a lot different than 6 to 7 appears (if true).
I couldn't find the logo circulating anywhere else? Their post was the first I've seen of that logo. Anyone know the supposed original source of it?
Was it rumored that Sony's June event was originally planned for May?
Assuming this is real, maybe the plan was to reveal Gran Turismo 7 in early May, with Next Level planning to promote this shortly after the reveal.
