Nintendo is known to be among the most successful companies of the industry, but many of their home consoles haven't been supported properly by third party publishers. Among the few that did, and still do, is Ubisoft, which has confirmed during last months' E3 2016 that the new entry of the Just Dance series will be making its way to the Nintendo NX next year. A few hours ago, Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot recently talked about the publisher's support for the next Nintendo console and more.

In a new interview with Game Informer, Yves Guillemot has revealed that Ubisoft's launch window support for the Nintendo NX is to be expected, with the CEO praising Nintendo as one of the best partners in the world.

“You can expect we’ll support Nintendo. Nintendo is one of the best partners in the world.”

With Ubisoft supporting the Wii U at launch with plenty of titles, including Assassin's Creed III and the unique, yet flawed, Zombi U, it will be interesting to see if Yves Guillemot is just referring to the new Just Dance game or if there's more in the works. As Nintendo still has to reveal its new console, there's hardly enough to even just speculate, but more should come in as soon as the Japanese company finally reveals more details on its mysterious new console.

Speaking about the NX's reveal, it's been recently confirmed that the console won't be shown during this year's edition of the Tokyo Game Show, as Nintendo is absent from the full exhibitor list for this year. Another big publisher that won't be attending this year's Tokyo Game Show is Microsoft, but this is hardly surprising, considering the Xbox One's struggles in Japan.

The Nintendo NX has yet to be revealed in full. Details on the console are expected to come later this year, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
